Common paths
Build your first application
- Open Getting Started with MDriven to install the tools and learn the core concepts.
- Continue with the MDriven Designer overview to create and organize a UML model. For example, create a class diagram and rename a diagram in the Object Inspector.
- Use MDriven Turnkey when you want to create a Turnkey site or work with Turnkey features and modules.
- Open Deployment when the application is ready to run on IIS, Azure, Docker, Linux, or macOS.
Extend an existing application
- Use Integration to choose guidance for authentication, REST or SOAP services, data import and export, or third-party services. For example, start in the authentication section when you need OpenID Connect, OAuth2, JWT, or ASP.NET Identity guidance.
- Use MDriven Framework when you need code generation, persistence mapping, Visual Studio integration, or custom extensions.
- Use Turnkey local development tips when you run the local core Turnkey application and need to keep SCSS, CSS, or EXT_Components source outside the Turnkey core file tree.
Document your model
Use Documtr and XPS to capture documentation for classes, attributes, and associations in MDriven Designer. For example, open the DOC tab for the selected model element, or use Ctrl+D on a class to open Documtr.
