You can request access to an unpublished iPhone beta app by sending MDriven the unique identifier for the iPhone that will run the app.
Request access
An unpublished iPhone app is available only to devices that MDriven has added to the beta-test acceptance list. The identifier is for the physical iPhone; it is not the phone's telephone number.
- Connect the iPhone to iTunes.
- Locate the phone's unique device identity in iTunes.
- Copy the complete identifier.
- Email the identifier to MDriven and state that it is for the beta test.
- Wait for MDriven to add the device to the accepted-phone list.
For example, if you are testing on both a work iPhone and a personal iPhone, send the identifier for each device. Approval for one device does not imply approval for another device.
Install the beta app
After MDriven has accepted the device, you receive:
- A URL for the beta-app installation page.
- A password (PWD) for that page.
Open the supplied URL on the approved iPhone, enter the password when prompted, and follow the installation instructions on the page.
What to send
Include enough information for MDriven to match your request to the test.

Do not send a telephone number in place of the device identifier. The acceptance list is based on the iPhone identity.
Troubleshooting
If the installation page does not allow installation, confirm that:
- You opened the URL on the same iPhone whose identifier you submitted.
- You copied the identifier completely when you sent the request.
- MDriven has confirmed that the device was added to the beta-test list.
- You entered the password supplied for the installation page.
If the problem continues, contact MDriven with the beta-test name and the identifier you submitted.
