You can use these changelogs to review revision comments and release notes for the MDriven components you use before you update or troubleshoot an installation.

Choose the correct changelog

MDriven publishes separate changelogs for the framework, MDriven Designer, MDrivenServer, and Turnkey. Review the log for each component that is part of your installation.

Component	Changelog	When to use it
MDriven Framework	Open the MDriven Framework changelog	Use this log for changes that affect all components.
MDriven Designer	Open the MDriven Designer changelog	Use this log when you work with MDriven Designer or are updating the design-time environment.
MDrivenServer	Open the MDrivenServer changelog	Use this log when you operate, update, or investigate behavior in MDrivenServer.
Turnkey	Open the Turnkey changelog	Use this log when you deploy or update Turnkey.

Review changes before an update

1. Open the changelog for the component you plan to update.
2. Find the revisions between the version you currently use and the version you plan to install.
3. Read the revision comments for changes that affect your models, deployment, or runtime behavior.
4. If your installation includes multiple components, also review the MDriven Framework changelog because it affects all components.
5. Keep the relevant revision comments with your update notes so you can compare changed behavior if an issue occurs after the update.

For example, when you update a Turnkey deployment that uses MDrivenServer, review the Turnkey and MDrivenServer logs, then check the MDriven Framework log for changes that affect all components.

Terminology

Revision comments are the entries in these changelogs. They serve as the available release notes for the corresponding component.
