Use this section to choose the appropriate MDriven learning resources for the project you are joining.
Start with Getting Started
Begin with Getting Started with MDriven. It provides introductory resources and links for installation and environment setup, including local installation, localhost certificates, Docker Desktop, WSL, IIS, PostgreSQL, and related setup topics.
The same page also links to key-concept resources, including models, MDriven interfaces, the Self concept, tuples, data transformation, and general concepts and practices.
Choose the project path
Choose the documentation path that matches the application you will work on:
- For an MDriven Framework project, use MDriven Framework Documentation. Its documented areas include installation and setup, a first project, .NET projects, Visual Studio integration, code generation and synchronization, persistence, customization, migration, WinForms, and WPF.
- For a Turnkey project, use MDriven Turnkey Documentation. Start with its site-creation and initial-setup resources, then use its architecture, how-to, features, deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting sections as needed.
Use task-specific guides
Use HowTos for practical procedures.
Suggested learning sequence
- Read Getting Started with MDriven.
- Complete the environment setup relevant to the project.
- Select the applicable Framework or Turnkey documentation path.
- Use HowTos when a task requires guidance.
- Review the project team's own procedures for making and reviewing changes.
