You must keep a valid, up-to-date MDriven license when you use MDriven or CapableObjects assemblies in both development and production.
License requirement
All MDriven and CapableObjects assemblies are subject to the same license requirement. Your license must be valid and current for the whole period in which you develop, test, or operate a solution that uses these assemblies.
This requirement applies to both of these stages:
| Stage | What you may be doing | License requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Development | Building, testing, prototyping, or maintaining an application that uses MDriven or CapableObjects assemblies. | Keep a valid, up-to-date license. |
| Production | Running the application for its intended users or business operation. | Keep a valid, up-to-date license. |
For example, a team that uses MDriven assemblies while developing a new application must have a valid license during development. When that application is deployed for production use, the license must remain valid and up to date.
Trial period
You can try MDriven products free for three months. A trial lets you evaluate the products before arranging the license needed for continued development or production use.
Choose the applicable licensing model
MDriven offers calendar-based licensing for MDriven Framework and provides licensing options for MDrivenServer and MDriven Turnkey. Read Calendar based license for the available models and the conditions that apply to MDrivenServer operations.
For service terms, including MDriven's handling of contact information, see Terms of service.
Source code is separately licensed
Access to MDriven source code is not included by this assembly-license statement. The Source code license is an optional, separate license with confidentiality and permitted-use conditions. If you have received source code, follow MDriven Source code instructions for the supported build approach.
Keep licensing information available
When your solution uses MDriven Turnkey or MDrivenServer, retain the license and ticket information supplied for the environment. The Turnkey configuration example uses values from the license and ticket, including MDrivenServerPWD and LicenseToken.
