1. Calendar-Based Licensing

Choose a calendar-based license when you need an annual license period for MDriven Framework, MDriven Designer, MDrivenServer, or MDriven Turnkey instead of a usage-reported arrangement.

1. 1. What a calendar-based license is

A calendar-based license is licensed for a defined calendar period. License periods are yearly unless another period is specified.

This model is available alongside MDriven's other licensing arrangements. MDriven Turnkey and MDrivenServer licensing can also be arranged through [sales@mdriven.net](mailto:sales@mdriven.net). For the usage-based pricing model and its measurements, see Documentation:Pricing.

1. 1. When to choose this model

Choose calendar-based licensing when one or more of these situations apply:

For example, if a production MDrivenServer is installed in an isolated network with no outbound internet connection, select a calendar-based license and provide the required model-size and user-base information before operating the server.

1. 1. MDrivenServer: information required for operation

A calendar-based MDrivenServer license must be combined with a report of:

1. **Model size** — the number of classes and views in your model. 2. **User base** — the number of users for the operation.

For example, report a model containing 120 classes and 45 views together with the applicable user base. This information is required for the MDrivenServer license to be valid for operations.

Calendar-based licenses can be purchased online or through MDriven's trusted partner, ComponentSource.com. The shop prices are list prices for corporate, professional production use.

To purchase directly or discuss a negotiated arrangement:

1. Prepare the product or products you need. 2. For MDrivenServer, prepare the model-size report and user-base information. 3. Contact [sales@mdriven.net](mailto:sales@mdriven.net) for licensing, negotiated pricing, startup, ISV, service-provider programs, or additional service-level agreements. 4. Renew yearly when you need continued support and updates for the applicable product.
